This June, Rosa and I are heading out on tour to play music and distribute questionnaires for our American Happiness Project. Like “virtue” or “justice” or “goodness” or “evil,” we often take words like happiness for granted. It’s like somehow we intuitively know what happiness means–and yet, when asked, happiness can seem truly mysterious and even elusive.
But we hope that, in gathering individual ideas, a collective idea about happiness will emerge somehow, will become clear in that space between us, that space that separates you from me.
For more about the project and to add your own ideas to the collective, go here.
